    Dr Morgan O’Brien graduated from The University of Notre Dame Fremantle in 2015 and started working in Western Australia before moving to the Sunshine Coast. Before completing his GP training, Morgan worked in a number city & country hospitals with experience in emergency medicine, paediatrics, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, and palliative care.

    Morgan enjoys all areas of General Practice with particular interest in palliative care, mental health, family medicine, skin and minor procedures. When not at work he enjoys surfing, camping and beach volleyball.

    Dr. Moni Kami brings a diverse and accomplished background to MyLocalDoc Caloundra. After training in General Practice through the University of London, he worked as a doctor in the UK for 12 years. Dr. Kami later moved to Australia with his family, earning his Fellowship with the RACGP.

    Dr. Kami has a unique passion for weightlifting and serves as a Medical Officer with the International Weightlifting Federation. He travels globally to provide medical supervision at weightlifting competitions, including the Beijing, Rio, and Athens Olympics, as well as five Commonwealth Games. In addition to his medical career, Dr. Kami competed internationally in weightlifting, representing both PNG and Tonga.

    In addition to his professional achievements, Dr. Kami is very active in the philanthropic space, dedicated to changing people's perspectives on their lives through various initiatives. His wealth of experience and dedication to comprehensive care make him an invaluable addition to our team.     Dr Jean-Marc de Maroussem grew up in Mauritius and completed his medical degree at the University of Cape Town in 1991. He went on to obtain Fellowship in General Practice in New Zealand in 2006 and later achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 2012.

    With a decade of rural medical experience in New Zealand and extensive paramedical training, Dr Jean-Marc brings a broad and mature clinical perspective to his work. He furthered his expertise by training for a Certificate in Musculoskeletal Medicine at the University of Otago in Christchurch.

    Dr Jean-Marc has also held roles as a General Practitioner with Special Interest (GPSI), including working in Urology at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital from 2019 to 2022, and in Cardiology in 2022. He maintains strong acute care skills, having completed Advanced Life Support 2 training in April 2023 and May 2025, as well as Paediatric Advanced Life Support training in November 2025.

    He currently divides his professional time between general practice in Caloundra and providing medical care in rural hospitals across Australia.

    Dr Jean-Marc has particular clinical interests in Minor Surgery, Musculoskeletal Medicine, Men’s Health, and Respiratory and Cardiovascular Medicine.

    Dr Mohamed Mahmoud completed his Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery at Ain Shams University, Egypt, in 1992. He obtained his fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2008. Dr Mohamed Mahmoud is a highly experienced practitioner known for his caring approach and has worked in various hospitals in Egypt, the UK, rural Victoria, the Mater and John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, NSW, and a GP role in rural NSW before calling the Sunshine Coast home. Dr Mahmoud enjoys all aspects of General Practice with a special interest in minor surgical procedures, skin cancer management and chronic disease management, especially the management of Diabetes and care of the elderly. He has been practicing as a General Practitioner in the Sunshine Coast since 2005. Dr Mahmoud is committed to providing comprehensive medical care to all his patients.

    Dr Fatin Gabriel graduated from the University of Khartoum in 1985 and began her medical career in Egypt before relocating to Australia in 1992. She initially worked in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, before moving to the Sunshine Coast in 2007 to practise at Apollo General Practice.

    Dr Fatin obtained Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2011 and has broad experience across all aspects of general practice. She has a special interest in child and adolescent health and women’s health, and is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred care for individuals and families.

    Dr Fatin is trained in Implanon and Mirena IUD insertion and removal and offers comprehensive care in:
